PROCEDURES FOR CUSC ONLINE REGISTRATION
- NEW MEMBERS ONLY:
After entering the Online Registration Website, create a member account with an identification and password/log in. This ID and password is UNIQUE TO YOUR FAMILY ACCOUNT and can be whatever you choose (i.e., not associated with previous club registration programs). The information that you provide during the login process is the primary guardian information and will transfer to the next screen. Remember your ID and password so you can check you account at your convenience in the future.
RETURNING MEMBERS:
After entering the Online Registration Website, log into your member account with your identification and password/log in created last fall or spring. If you do not remember your user id or password, please email clubadmin@chesapeakeunited.org.
- Select a program (Travel Program, Advanced Program or Developmental Program). Click HERE for specific program descriptions.
- Select the appropriate gender and age division for your player (see table for age divisions that correspond with your player’s birthday). The registration program does not allow you to register for a different gender or age division that does not correspond with your player’s age/gender. PLEASE DO NOT FORCE THE SYSTEM. Please refer to the information below if you have special circumstances for your player (trying out in different gender or age division, dual rostering).
Choosing the Correct Age Group: The soccer year begins 1 Aug and ends 31 July. Players will tryout with the age group that matches the age he/she will turn during the soccer year

Players trying out for teams in the Travel Program
· Select the Travel Program. Current advanced/recreational players do not have to register again in the Advanced Program.
· Select the age/gender that corresponds with your date of birth/gender.
· Ensure you complete the Prior Team Information Section on the form (as appropriate).
· If you are not selected for a Travel team, your information will be forwarded to the Advanced Program and placed in the appropriate age division for further action/team placement.
Players trying out for teams in the Advanced Program Only
· Select the Advanced Program. - These players will not be considered for Travel Teams.
· Select the age/gender that corresponds with your date of birth/gender.
· Ensure you complete the Prior Team Information Section on the form (as appropriate).
Players who are trying out an age division up (“playing up”)
· Register within your appropriate age division.
· FOR TRAVEL PROGRAM – Ensure you select yes to the question asking if you are trying up 1 age division. PLAYERS ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO PLAY UP ONE AGE DIVISION.
· FOR ADVANCE PROGRAM - Ensure you select yes to the question asking if you are trying up 1 or 2 age divisions and indicate which age division. PLAYERS ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO PLAY UP TWO AGE DIVISIONS, BUT THIS IS NOT ENCOURAGED DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS.
For girls who want to try out for a boys team
· Register in your appropriate gender and age division.
· In the SPECIAL REQUEST section, indicate you would like to try out for a boys team in the appropriate age division.
For players who are dual rostered in both Advanced and Travel Programs
· The player must be registered in both the Advanced Program and the Travel Program.
· Players can only play on one team per program.
- Complete the player information. If additional information is needed, a Special Request block is provided.
- Complete the volunteer information. This helps establish a volunteer base the Club can draw from for various events scheduled throughout the year. If you have a particular expertise that would benefit the club, place this in the OCCUPATION block provided.
- For those parents/guardians who want to be a part of a team and/or club staff, please contact either the Executive Director or Club Administrator at the emails provided under the "Contact Us" on the CUSC Homepage.
- Review Notification/Waivers screens concerning volunteering, policies/procedures and medical liability. After review, click the "Accept" checkbox on each. If you do not accept, the registration will cease.
- At this point, you are able to register another child in the same program (Travel/Advanced) by selecting the "Register Someone Else" and clicking the "Register" button. If you would like to register a child in another program, you must complete the registration in the current program by clicking the "Continue" button. When you reach the Receipt screen, there is a hyperlink “Back to Registration” at the bottom of the screen. Clicking this will lead you back to the screen that lists the club programs.
- Review the invoice. For the Travel and Advanced Programs, only the registration fees are applied at this time. The Club fees for the year will be applied once the player is invited to be on a team and the parent accepts the team assignment. Below is the payment schedule for the soccer year:

Respective discounts/fee waivers (sibling and volunteer discounts) will be applied to your account once team assignments have been completed.
