Chesapeake United Crush Silver U-11 Girls, Silver Division are the 2008 TASL Champions.

 What a great feat for these girls. A brand new team starting in the B division fighting for wins through our league games with only 10 players.  We were not even sure at one point that we would even have enough to form a team.  One player who has never even played before signed on, and another is only 9 years old and was placed on the team to give us one more player.  With these odds against us, these girls were quick to form a bond and become sisters in soccer.  We had some very stiff competition and the proof is in the Semi Final and Final games.  Both ending in a tie and having to go to penalty kicks in order to determine a winner.  But thanks to our strong accurate kicks and outstanding goalie we were able to pull off the win.  Congratulations to Anna Claire, Rebecca, Maggie, Ali, Sami, Erin, Jordan, Shannon, Kathryn, and Madison for a job well done.  We would like to thank all of our competition for their wonderful sportsmanship on the field, as well as TASL for a well planned and run tournament with beautiful medals and t-shirts.
