WAIVER OF LIABILITY/U.S. GOVERNMENT INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
Who has to complete these forms? Who do they have to be shown to?
The U.S. Marine Corp (Quantico Base) is often host to a major portion of our tournament games. All age groups that are playing at the Quantico Base must be completed and must be with you at all times while you are on the U.S. Marine Base. We realize that not all teams within these age groups will be playing all their games at Quantico, however, since Finals may be played at Quantico, we need everybody in these age groups to complete the forms in the event their team advances. These forms are to be presented at team registration on Friday, and must be with you at all times while you are on the U. S. Marine Base. The forms will be mailed in your acceptance packet and be found in our website under the "Acceptance Packet" link.
WEARING OF A CAST
Can a player wear a cast and play in the Virginian tournament?
Before you consider playing with a cast please consult your doctor to see if it is feasible/advisable to play soccer with a cast on.
The Laws of the Game do not prohibit the wearing of a cast. However a player may not wear anything that is dangerous to any player, including the player him/herself. Whether the article is dangerous is left to sole discretion of the referee for each match. Therefore it is impossible to predict in advance what the decision will be.
Many, if not most, referees will allow a player to play with a hard cast if the cast is well padded with foam rubber or bubble wrap and the player does not use the cast in a way that is dangerous.
